1. The core part of the precision filter is the filter element, which is made of special materials and is a wearable part that requires special protection;
 
2. After the precision filter has been working for a period of time, the filter element will intercept a certain amount of impurities. At this time, the pressure drop will increase and the flow rate will decrease. It is necessary to remove the impurities in the filter in time and clean the filter element at the same time;
 
3. When removing impurities, pay special attention to the precision filter element, which must not be deformed or damaged. Otherwise, the purity of the medium after the filter element is installed will not meet the design requirements;
 
4. Some precision filter elements cannot be used repeatedly, such as bag filter elements, polypropylene filter elements, etc.;
 
5. If the filter element is found to be deformed or damaged, it must be replaced immediately.
 
Precautions for coarse filter:
 
1. The core part of the filter is the filter core. The filter core is composed of a filter frame and a stainless steel wire mesh. The stainless steel wire mesh is a consumable part and needs special protection;
 
2. After the filter has been working for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities will be deposited in the filter core. At this time, the pressure drop will increase and the flow rate will decrease. The impurities in the filter core need to be removed in time;
 
3. When cleaning impurities, pay special attention to the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter core. It cannot be deformed or damaged. Otherwise, the purity of the medium after the filter is installed will not meet the design requirements, and the compressor, pump, instrument and other equipment will be damaged;
 
4. If the stainless steel wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it needs to be replaced immediately.
 
Selection principles of filters:
 
1. Inlet and outlet diameters:
 
In principle, the inlet and outlet diameters of the filter should not be less than the inlet diameter of the matching pump, and are generally consistent with the inlet pipe diameter.
 
2. Nominal pressure:
 
Determine the pressure level of the filter according to the higher pressure that may occur in the filter pipe.
 
3. Selection of the number of holes:
 
Mainly consider the particle size of impurities to be intercepted, which is determined according to the process requirements of the medium flow. The particle sizes that can be intercepted by various specifications of wire mesh can be found in the following table "Filter Specifications".
 
4. Filter material:
 
The material of the filter is generally selected to be the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel filters can be considered.
